NO GOOD ENT Shakes The Hip-Hop Scene With 'Mean Music' Mixtape

Rising hip-hop act NO GOOD ENT is out conquering the world with a brand new mixtape Mean Music that is getting all the attention in studios at The Breakfast Club. The West Coast duet also dropped a music video for “Bob Saget”, one of the songs on the album which is quickly becoming a fan-favorite in NYC.

Speaking about their newly released mixtape and overall vision for the coming years, NO GOOD ENT said: “Mean Music is probably the most unique project dropped all year honestly. We feel like we’re in the process of changing the world’s view on California hip-hop. This is just the beginning.”

Mean Music truly showcases the best qualities of NO GOOD ENT’s music and how far they have come. Starting out as middle school friends rapping in the car, the two have grown to fully commit to music, demonstrating passion, persistence, and creativity all around. Their unique style mixed with the nonchalant mentality of making music that’s close to their heart as opposed to music that is profound in its meaning is what caught the eye of many listeners, resulting in millions of Soundcloud plays in the beginning of their career and their initial releases like “Bruce Lee,” “Coochie Dance” and “Backpack” and collaborations with YN Jay, Teejayx6, and YSR Gramz.

With the release of their new mixtape, NO GOOD ENT is crashing all the numbers, gathering thousands upon thousands of streams and positive feedback from fans nationwide. The most fascinating verse on this, which also refers back to the entire ideology of the act, arrives last in “Bob Saget”; “If we keep on making ignorant music, they gone have us canceled” is a playful way to claim their rebellious nature—Mari Peso and President Bandz’ speciality fans appreciate so much.

Speaking about their mission as artists in a recent interview, NO GOOD ENT said that they “want to lift the people with relatable feel-good music… There’s so much negativity in the world these days we just want to lighten the mood, you know? Make people feel good,” and they surely do so! Stay tuned for more “ignorant music” by the singular act NO GOOD ENT!
