Variety has reported that Netflix's upcoming miniseries, True Story starring Wesley Snipes and Kevin Hart, will debut on November 24. Hart is preparing to play the role of Kid, a comedian on the rise who is returning to his hometown for his biggest show yet. However, things take a turn for the worse when his older brother, played by Snipes, gets himself into a situation that may cost him his career.

Snipes and Hart are not the only two stars that will appear in True Story. Lauren London, Tawny Newsome, Will Catlett, Paul Adelstein, Ash Santos, John Ales, Chris Diamantopoulos and Billy Zane will also appear in the miniseries. London will play the role of Monyca, Kid's co-parent and complicated significant other. Meanwhile, Newsome plays Kid's comedy writer, Billy, and Adelstein plays Kid's manager. Rounding out the cast, Catlett plays Kid's bodyguard while Santos portrays a woman named Daphne who Hart and Snipes meet along the way.

True Story is Hart's second major Netflix feature. Earlier this year, he starred as Matthew Logelin in Fatherhood. Throughout the film, he was joined by DeWanda Wise, Alfre Woodard, Lil' Rel Howery, Anthony Carrigan, and Paul Reiser.

"A widowed new dad copes with doubts, fears, heartache and dirty diapers as he sets out to raise his daughter on his own. Inspired by a true story," the film's description reads.

Moving forward, Hart is expected to appear in Uptown Saturday Night, The Man From Toronto, Borderlands and The Great Outdoors. Also, he is rumored to be working on a film adaptation of Monopoly.
