SpaceX Reveals Orbital Flight Plan For Starship

SpaceX has revealed its flight plan for the first orbital trip of the Starship rocket.Β The 160-foot-tall rocket is being developed to take people on missions to the Moon and Mars.Β Prototypes of the Starship have been used in several high-altitude test flights.Β In filings to the FCC on Thursday, SpaceX revealed plans to finally send the rocket into orbit.Β The flight plan shows the rocket launching from the SpaceX facility in Boca Chica, Texas, achieving orbit, and splashing down near Hawaii, off the coast of Kauai.Β The flight's expected to last just over 90 minutes.Β SpaceX is coordinating with NASA, the Air Force and other agencies on the flight.Β CEO Elon Musk said earlier this year that he hopes to launch Starship on an orbital mission by July.
