Fraud accusations have surfaced against El Paso District officials. Superintendent Juan Cabrera and former board member Dori Fenenbock are being sued for defrauding investors out of five-million dollars. The money was raised to start up the for-profit online-learning school eSchool Prep in 2018. The El Paso School District board will wait for evidence to be presented in the case before taking any action.
