2020 Grammys Reportedly Preparing Nipsey Hussle Tribute

Nipsey Hussle's legacy will reportedly be on display during the 2020 Grammys.

On Wednesday (January 15), Hits Daily Double reported that the upcoming ceremony, which just announced a batch of new performers, will include "a major segment" paying tribute to the late rapper. If true, the honor will come at an appropriate place as the star's memorial also took place at Los Angeles' Staples Center. An official announcement has yet to be made from the Recording Academy.

Hussle, who was shot and killed outside of his Marathon Clothing Store on March 31, is nominated for three awards at this year’s ceremony including Best Rap Performance ("Racks in the Middle”), Best Rap/Sung Collaboration ("Higher") and Best Rap Song ("Racks in the Middle").

Among the performers for the ceremony include Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Demi Lovato, Lizzo, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, Camila Cabello, Tyler, The Creator, Rosalía, Jonas Brothers, H.E.R., Bonnie Raitt, Charlie Wilson and Run-DMC, who will perform alongside Aerosmith.
