Terry Wayne Washington was sentenced yesterday for smashing a turtle with a hammer at Lady Bird Lake, and it seems like a pretty light sentence. He accepted a plea deal that gave him a 10 year suspended sentence to go with 4 years of probation, can't own a pet, pay a $200 fine and complete 200 hours of community service.
